No baby here!

Tonight on my break from work, I went into Kenji's room to sit with him for a few minutes. He was awake so we sat and talked for quite a while. After a minute Kenji started saying baby over and over again. I asked him where the baby is and he pulled up his shirt, pointed to his belly, laughed and said "No baby here!" Then he started rubbing my belly and said "my baby." I don't know if he fully gets that we are going to have a new baby, but I think he's starting to understand. He's going to be such a great big brother.

I have my doctors appointment on Friday, so hopefully they will be able to book an ultrasound to find out exactly how far along I am. Right now I'm thinking that I might be even further along than 11 weeks, because I either have really weird gas bubbles that are popping in my tummy... all the time... or I'm feeling baby's first movements. I'm anxious for the appointment because I want to know that everything is ok with the baby. I was on a lot of medications, including pain killers and benadryl around what I think was the start of the pregnancy, which caused several negative pregnancy tests. But, given how big I already am... I'm wondering how far along I really am. I'm huge! We found out we were pregnant at 11:30 pm on August 4th (Aug 5 was our anniversary. What a present!) and when I woke up on the 7th, my belly had already popped out! It's crazy! I'll add pictures one day... not today though. I have to get a good belly picture first.
